Award of Arms


We, ___, and _____, King and Queen of An Tir, give you greetings. Well pleased by the service that Our subject, by name ______, hath rendered to Our Realm, We bestow upon him/her an Award of Arms. He/She shall henceforth have the sole and exclusive right to bear the arms (blazon) in this Our society as of this____ day of _____, ____ AD being AS ____. In witness whereof, We here set Our hand and seal. So also does Black Lion Herald affirm by seal and signature that this document is a true record of said name and blazon.

ALTERNATIVE:

To all and singular to whom these presents shall come, greetings. Whereas ____, Our loyal subject has greatly enriched Our Kingdom through his/her divers great efforts and is deserving of reward for said efforts, know ye therefore that We____ and ____, King and Queen of the sovereign Kingdom of An Tir, do by these presents award and assign unto said ____ the arms following, that is to say: (blazon) as the same are in the margin hereof more plainly depicted to be borne and used solely and exclusively by him/her throughout the Knowne World. In witness whereof We the aforesaid King and Queen have to these presents subscribed Our names and affixed the Seal of Our Kingdom this ___ day of ____in the year AS ____, being o ____ in the common Era.
