In some cases it is permissible to combine awards into one scroll. The reasons are many and can be because the recipient has little wall space or would just like it all in one. This can also be done for a couple who either received their awards at the same time, at different times, or similar awards, such as a goutte for him and a jambe for her. This can only be done if the recipient(s) approve. **NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE EXPLICIT APPROVAL FROM THE RECIPIENT(S) AND SABLE SABLE TO DO THIS.
Award texts or listings would then go in chronological order from the first award bestowed to the last. This can be used for two or more awards and any combination. Alternate opening phrases can be used and text should be adapted to suit the award.
Option #1:
Design the scroll as a triptych (or for X number of awards) The device is portrayed once, as well as the blazon (the written heraldic description). Each text would be included and the recipient's name either included once for all or in each text separately. Other texts would have words such as "as depicted & blazoned herein" or "as here set forth".There would be only one kingdom and one herald seal, Black Lion signs only once since the arms only appear once, but space for all signatures would be under the appropriate texts. Two for each text.
Option #2:
Incorporate the text of each award into one continuous text. The device and blazon are still portrayed only once. However, instead of multiple signatures for royalty it would only have the most recent royalty signing for all others. Same number of seals and Black Lion only signs once.A sample text would be something like:
