Order of the Pelican


To all and singular unto whom these presents shall come,_______ and _____, undoubted King and Queen of the sovereign realm of An Tir, bid you greetings. In acknowledgement of his/her untiring and selfless devotion to the welfare of Our Kingdom, and after consultation with the member of the Order, We hereby elevate Our subject ____ to the Order of the Pelican, and affirm by these Letters Patent his/her exclusive right to bear the Arms (blazon_____). In token whereof, We grant him/her the privilege of displaying above his/her shield, in whole or in part, the achievement proper to the Order: to wit, a crest of a pelican in her piety or a cap of maintenance gules turned up plumetty argent goutte de sang with mantling (color) doubled (metal or fur). This have we done on the ___ day of ____, being the ___th year of the Society or ___ of the Common Era.

In witness whereof We here set Our hand and seal. By seal and signature, Black Lion Herald testifies that the armories depicted and blazoned herein belong unto the said ___ to use, bear, and show forth at all times.


Leave room for two royal signatures and one kingdom seal 3" in diameter and one herald's signature and heralds seal 2" in diameter
