The bookbinders had now completed their task.
The Bokes have been stitched together with linen threads onto alum-tawed goatskin
strips.
The strips of leather are fastened onto hand-shaped oak boards.
The spines are covered with more of the goatskin, and glued
with a high-tech medieval glue - boiled flour and water!
